  • Dr. Coye Still, senior pastor

    Coye has served University Hills as pastor since 2004. He loves the University Hills Church deeply and considers serving this congregation and community to be a precious privilege. Coye and his wife, Sherra, have five children: Coye IV, Seth (who is married to Christine), Anna Grace, Eden, and Hope. Coye is a graduate of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY (Master of Divinity, 1991; Ph.D., 2000).  You can connect with Coye on email.

  • Dr. Michael toney, pastor for worship and music

    Mike has served as pastor for worship and music since 1989. He is a graduate of Bryan College, Dayton, TN (B.A. in Music and Christian Education), Southwestern Theological Seminary, Ft. Worth, TX (M.A. in Religious Education), and the Robert Webber Institute for Worship Studies in Jacksonville, FL (Doctorate in Worship Studies).   • Bo Riley, pastor to students

    Bo has served as pastor to students at University Hills since 2010. He and his wife, Allison, have 3 children: Ella Grace, Hannah, and Caleb.  Bo has a passion to see students, their families, and Connect Groups gripped by the Gospel and living together as Gospel-centered communities on mission.  Bo is a graduate of Columbia International University and of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv, 2013).  Connect with Bo on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and email.

  • Kristin Hutchinson, Ministry Assistant

    Kristin began working as our Ministry Assistant in February 2016.  She graduated from Liberty University in 2008, and she and her husband, Billy, have been married since 2013.  Kristin is excited to serve with University Hills, assisting the staff in spreading the Gospel day-to-day!  Contact Kristin via email.

  • Rebekah Gardner, Student Ministry Intern

    Rebekah joined our team in September 2015 as our Youth Ministry Intern. She graduated from Meredith College in 2011 with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Design and a minor in Marketing. Rebekah enjoys her job because she's always had a heart for students, and is passionate about seeing students follow hard after Jesus and have a desire to grow in the Lord! During the week, Rebekah is a Teacher Assistant at Harrisburg Elementary School.

  • Melodie Conner, International Student Ministry Intern

    Melodie joined our team fall of 2016 as International Student Ministry Intern. She is a graduate of UNC Wilmington (B.A. in Theatre, 2004) and of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv, 2010). Melodie served overseas in Africa for 3 years. Melodie's passion in life is sharing God's love and free gift of salvation with internationals. Her desire is to see other believers develop a love for internationals, share the good news, and make disciples of all nations.

  • Dr. Jane Gaultney, keyboardist

    Jane Gaultney began serving in the UHBC Music Ministry in 1992, playing keyboard and handbells and worshiping through music with some of the most wonderful people in the world.  During the rest of the week she is a professor of Psychological Sciences and Health Psychology at UNC Charlotte.

  • Michael Colson, Organist and Choral Assistant

    In March 2016, Michael began serving as the organist and choral assistant at University Hills. Of course he enjoys playing organ, piano, and handbells, but he especially enjoys Wednesday night choir rehearsals and the choir retreats. When he's not playing or practicing at UHBC, you can find him playing oldies and movie themes on the piano in the Charlotte Airport Atrium, at home composing music, or at Chick-fil-a in his special marketing role.
